Monday, June 21, 2010. My Father at the BP Oil Spill. The Sunday before last, my father flew down to the Gulf Coast to document the massive BP Deepwater Horizon oil slick that has engulfed the wildlife of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Many residents are very angry about the spill.

As many readers will recall, we lost D12 earlier in 2012 to electrocution at a power pole in the area. We have more sad news now that Bob Anderson, Raptor Resource Project, found, from the same three fledglings of 2012, D14 electrocuted at a power pole near Rockford, Iowa.
